    Skating: A popular game

In 13th and 14th Century, Dutch people invented the sport of Ice Skating. Unlike the modern Skate Deck, the earlier versions of the skates were constructed using steel with sharp bottoms in order to reduce the friction. However, the next model of skateboard decks was constructed in a way that it largely resembled the modern one. Earlier, except in Netherlands, the sport was considered as a monopoly of the upper classes. Many emperors relished the sport and Emperor Rudolf II of Holy Roman Empire organized a large carnival to publicize the game.

It is supposed that the roller skating was first introduced in 1743 in London during a stage performance by an unknown inventor. The earliest recorded inline skate demonstrator in 1760 was John-Joseph Merlin. The first skate patent was obtained by M. Petit Bled of France in the year 1819. From there on, the designs of the skateboards evaluated and gradually improved. The 19th century witnessed the growth and development of the various models of skates, and this was the period, when evolution in the skateboard designs came into being. Today, we use the most technically developed skateboards with more options to maneuver. Many sports developed around the skating sport, and the game was thus popularized in many states and countries with minor alterations.

Today, there are hosts of sports in existence with skating as their base sport. As a result there are many skate essentials available in the market, like Skate Decks and skate clothes. With these, you can just master this skillful art. So much so is the craze and mass liking for the sport, you can actually nurture your skating skills by taking part in the competitions. The Olympics has also included and has regarded it as a major sport.

Do what is right by your children.

When parents get divorced and are involved in child custody battles they will sometimes fail to do what is right by their children as they are so focused on gaining custody.

If you are involved in a child custody battle then make sure you do everything in your power to do what is right by your children.

Dr. Ira Turkat states in one of his articles that “attorneys who litigate child custody cases are accustomed to hearing clients claim is that their children are being turned against them by the other parent”. In some cases this is true but in some cases it is a false accusation, and this is not the kind of role modelling that you want your children to see. So avoid making false accusations in court.

Avoid these allegations unless you truly feel that the other parent is turning your children against you. By avoiding false allegations you are allowing the court to see what is best for your children and you allow them to make an educated decision.

By telling the truth, and only the truth, in your custody battle then you are doing right by your children. You must have faith that if you are the right parent for the job then the court will rule in your favour.
