    Techniques used by Sam Foti

At The MONY Group, Sam Foti has undertaken a number of initiatives to propel the Group towards industry leadership in the Insurance sector.

Samuel J. Foti has a few techniques under his belt that he has utilized through the years. Even though these can be easily emulated, what he has a specialty in, is his propensity to take risks. He creates a vision and then follows it through to the end which is believed to be the driving force that leads him to success.

Firstly, he worked on expanding the Group‘s product line, services and revenue generation possibilities. This was made possible by his unique business acumen, through which he foresaw that making possible the acquisition of U.S. Financial Life Insurance Company and Trusted Advisors Inc. would help in building capacity and add years of expertise to the Group, making it a mature player in the market. His other achievements include implementing a number of revenue savings initiatives, including an early retirement program and the reduction of costs related to the Group’s sales force. Samuel Foti also managed the creation and development of the Group’s Enterprise Strategies group, enabling the company to distribute through wholesalers. This enabled in transitioning MONY’s distribution network, which helped gain a time advantage over other players in the market.

Finally, an easy Virtual Private Network!

VPN’s just sound expensive to deploy.  I outsource my networking to a specialist, but was taken aback by the price point when I requested VPN access to our network.
I found we needed to upgrade the firewall, buy new licenses for our Exchange Server and set up dedicated VPN usernames for each user.
We did all of this and then found that half the time the VPN service would go down right in the middle of something and you’d be kicked out.

That’s when I stumbled across WebPoint by Vedivi.  No high-ticket price, setup fees or slow connections!  I simply installed the free software on my office PC and within 20 minutes I was able to remotely connect to my PC from outside the network.
Basically, it bypasses all the usual VPN mumbo-jumbo and creates a tunnel to the WebPoint site.  You log in on the site with a username and password and the software creates a secure channel between your PC’s.  I even found that I could browse all the PC’s in my office – very cool indeed.
    Try it Free for yourself.
